Peng Yu-Han – The Rising Material Phenomenon

At just 19 years old, Taiwan's Peng Yu-Han is currently shaking up the international table tennis scene as one of the most exciting unique material players on the WTT tour. Standing firm in the senior world rankings and holding a top position in the U19 youth rankings, she has proven that classic material styles are highly effective in the modern era of high-speed table tennis.
Her tactical system is an absolute nightmare for opponents and a masterclass in rhythm destruction. Peng Yu-Han combines two completely opposite worlds on her blade: on her forehand, she uses the fast, spin-elastic short pimple Nittaku Moristo SP AX to put immediate pressure on the ball with flat, aggressive counter-attacks. On her backhand, she utilizes the frictionless anti-top Mega Block from Der Materialspezialist, allowing her to absorb the heaviest topspins and drop the ball short and dead right behind the net.
What makes her truly dangerous is her lightning-fast twiddling technique. By constantly rotating her racket mid-rally, she forces her opponents to continuously recalculate completely opposite flight paths and spin reversals. Peng Yu-Han is definitely a player to watch for everyone who loves the creative and unorthodox side of table tennis.
