Luka MLADENOVIC LUX (IN/ANTI)

Luka Mladenovic (born December 26, 1998) is a Luxembourgish table tennis player. From 2016 to 2021 he took part in four European and four World Championships. He has been under contract with 1. FSV Mainz 05 since 2017. In 2017 he became Luxembourg national champion for the first time.

Luka Mladenovic, son of Serbian parents, is considered a material player; at the 2017 World Cup he used the Transformer anti-topspin rubber on his backhand. As number 410 in the world rankings, he surprisingly forced the South Korean Cho Seung Min, number 86 in the world rankings, into the deciding set, which he lost.

In 2022 he was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga with 1. FSV Mainz 05, in which he defeated Simon Gauzy, who was ranked 29th in the world (September 2022).
